ACTIVE TRAVEL & HEALTH
The Working Group on Active Travel and Health looks at the impact that urban and regional transport has on the environment and on health.
CLEAN VEHICLES & AIR QUALITY
Within the Working Group on Clean Vehicles & Air Quality, POLIS members share best practices and exchange knowledge on reducing transport-related emissions and accelerating the take up of clean vehicles.
MOBILITY & TRAFFIC EFFICIENCY
The POLIS Working Group on Mobility & Traffic Efficiency addresses the broad subject of multimodal network management from both a strategic and technical perspective, with a focus on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and its role in helping cities deliver their policy goals.
A joint initiative of POLIS and the European Parking Association, the Working Group on Parking brings members of both organisations together to discuss challenges related to urban parking policies.
Within the Working Group on Access, POLIS members jointly work on how to best address challenges such as access regulations, pricing, infrastructure, and accessibility for all.
SAFETY & SECURITY
The POLIS Working Group on Safety & Security discusses how to make city streets safe, addressing road safety as well as the security of transport systems and public space.
GOVERNANCE & INTEGRATION
Within the Working Group on Governance & Integration, POLIS members discuss topics such as smart cities, SUMPs, financing and policy-making for cutting-edge innovation.
Within the POLIS Working Group on Urban Freight, cities and regions can discuss the challenges they face, share good practices and improve collaboration with industry, prioritise topics and accelerate deployment of innovative solutions in the field of urban freight.
SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED CITIES PLATFORM
The POLIS Small and Medium-Sized Cities Platform brings together smaller cities within POLIS and gives them a dedicated platform to discuss governance issues, challenges and solutions that are inherent to their shape and size.
Through the Regions Working Group, regional POLIS members share common challenges and solutions facing regional actors in the transition to a more sustainable urban mobility.
POLIS Taskforces are horizontal topical groups that bring POLIS members — and the wider public — together to get a deeper insight into a specific aspect or challenge of urban mobility and foster peer-to-peer exchange by integrating the knowledge and expertise of all POLIS Working Groups.
