How to get to Polis
Polis is at walking distance from the European Parliament, Place du Luxembourg, Brussels-Luxembourg train station, and metro station Trône. It is also conveniently located nearby several European Commission offices and regional authority representations in Brussels.
From Gare du Midi/Zuidstation (Eurostar, Thalys, local trains):
Take the metro lines 2 or 6 direction Simonis (Elisabeth) to Trône and walk five minutes south-east on Rue du Trône. A single metro trip costs 2,10 EUR.
From Brussels Airport Zaventem (BRU):
Train (+/- 20 min): A direct train links Brussels airport to Brussels Luxembourg station (every 30 minutes, direction Dinant or Charleroi-Sud). The ticket costs around 9 EUR. From Brussels-Luxembourg station, turn left and walk on Rue d’Idalie, then turn right on Rue du Trône. Plan your train trip from the airport here.
Bus (+/- 40 min): A direct bus (N°12 or N°21), operated by STIB, links Brussels airport to Place du Luxembourg. From Place du Luxembourg continue straight on Rue d’Idalie and turn right on Rue du Trône (fare 4,50 EUR at vending machine, 6 EUR purchased inside vehicle). Plan your trip by public transport here. Train + metro (+/-40 min): Take the Airport City Express train service into Brussels Gare du Midi/Zuidstation; then take the metro lines 2 or 6 direction Simonis (Elisabeth) to Trône (fare 9 EUR train, 2,10 EUR metro), and walk five minutes down in south eastern direction on Rue du Trône.
Taxi costs about 40 EUR.
