Join ELABORATOR as an Observer City for sustainable urban transformation
The EU-funded ELABORATOR project is inviting cities across Europe to join its Observer Cities Open Call and gain exclusive insights into pioneering solutions for sustainable, safe, inclusive, and accessible urban mobility.
Now, at the halfway point of its journey, ELABORATOR’s partners and 12 Living Labs are opening their doors to Observer Cities, offering a unique opportunity to engage with the project’s holistic approach, pilot definitions, and real-world implementation processes. By becoming an Observer City, municipalities will gain insider access to innovative mobility strategies, share their own experiences, and learn from leading cities already implementing transformative solutions. This collaborative effort is designed to empower cities to tackle mobility challenges and accelerate their path to climate neutrality.
With Helsinki, Copenhagen, Milan, Issy-les-Moulineaux, Zaragoza, and Trikala as Lighthouse cities and Lund, Liberec, Velenje, Split, Krusevac, and Ioannina as Follower cities, ELABORATOR provides real-world examples of co-creation, community engagement, and sustainable mobility measures that can be adapted to local needs.
Observer Cities will have access to a range of in-person and online activities, including workshops, site visits, and webinars, fostering capacity-building in a collaborative and supportive environment. Best of all, ELABORATOR covers travel expenses for in-person events!
Cities committed to tackling urban mobility challenges, improving safety, and aligning with climate city contracts or Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) are encouraged to apply.
