MOBILITYAWARDS Ceremony and Workshops 2026

The MOBILITYAWARDS Ceremony and Workshops will take place in Brussels on 17 March 2026, hosted by the European Commission.

The MOBILITYAWARDS (which include the EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK (EMW) and MOBILITYACTION Awards) celebrate the outstanding efforts made by cities and other organisations in promoting sustainable urban mobility. Hosted by the European Commission, this exciting full-day event brings together urban mobility professionals and EMW campaign organisers from both national and local levels.

Launched in 2002, EMW is a flagship initiative of the European Commission. The campaign focuses on enhancing public health and addressing key urban challenges such as air pollution and congestion. Over the years, it has proved to be a valuable platform for cities and organisations to exchange ideas and knowledge to create more sustainable and accessible urban environments.

During the Award Ceremony, two mobility awards will be presented:

  • The EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK Award celebrates municipalities that have presented excellent sustainable urban mobility solutions during the campaign's key week of 16-22 September
  • The MOBILITYACTION Award recognises excellence in mobility management planning solutions submitted by businesses, institutions, civil society organisations, and citizen initiatives

The Award ceremony will feature the participation of high-level speakers, including Apostolos Tzitzikostas, Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism, and Magda Kopczyńska, Director General for Mobility and Transport.
