Mobility NL-NRW Cross-border Conference: Urban Nodes and Opportunities in Europe

The Mobility NL-NRW Cross-border Conference 'Urban Nodes and Opportunities in Europe' explores the opportunities and challenges for urban nodes. The event will take place on 26 February in Arnhem, the Netherlands.

With the 2024 amendment of the TEN_T Regulation by the European Union, all cities with more than 100,000 inhabitants are now considered 'Urban Nodes'.  The event Mobility NL-NRW Cross-border Conference 'Urban Nodes and Opportunities in Europe' will focus on discussing the implications of urban nodes for urban mobility, and how to use this opportunity to accelerate the transition to sustainable mobility.

Featuring experts in urban mobility, strategists and managers in urban nodes and regions, and other stakeholders, the conference focuses on tackling the goals, concerns, and requirements for cities and regions.

The event is part of the structural cooperation between POLIS members Gelderland, Noord-Brabant, Limburg, Overijssel, and Zuid-Holland and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia in the field of mobility and infrastructure Mobility NL-NRW.

    • 4. Urban nodes and their connection to the TEN-T network, broader than logistics
  • 15.15 - 15.30: Short break
  • 15.30 – 16.00: Plenary wrap up with exchange, dialogue and discussion, outlook on next steps and milestones
