Arturo Luciani
Arturo joined POLIS in June 2026.
Arturo’s project work at POLIS Network focuses on urban freight, truck electrification, and Mobility as a Right. He is also passionate about public transport, workers' welfare, and active mobility, which he focuses on in his communication pursuits.
Arturo works on medium-distance e-truck deployment in projects such as NextETRUCK and ESCALATE but also focuses on urban freight logistics in dense urban areas such as Florence, Madrid, and Berlin through the UNCHAIN project. Lastly, he investigates innovative mobility solutions and public transport governance as part of the UPPER project.
He holds a BSc in Social-Economic Sciences from the University of Antwerp and a MSc in Urban Studies from ULB and VUB, with a specialisation path in infrastructure and mobility. Before joining POLIS, Arturo worked as an intern at the Knowledge & Innovation Department at UITP, conducting policy-oriented research.
