Scandria Alliance Talk – Sustainable mobility for all places: mobility hubs in peri-urban and rural areas

Taking place on 30 October 2026, the Scandria Alliance Talk 'Sustainable mobility for all places: mobility hubs in peri-urban and rural areas' will present concrete examples of how to increase the accessibility and liveability of such areas.

Mobility hubs are crucial tools in promoting a behavioural shift towards more sustainable transport: they simplify intermodal travel and encourage shared mobility and public transport. Yet, while they are increasingly present within major European cities, establishing hubs in peri-urban and rural areas presents specific challenges.

In the webinar, experts from different European regions will showcase successful examples and discuss the specific operational logistics and business models of mobility hubs in peri-urban and rural areas. The talk features real-life examples from the Capital Region Berlin-Brandenburg and POLIS member Helsinki-Uusimaa Region.

The Scandria Alliance Talk 'Sustainable mobility for all places: mobility hubs in peri-urban and rural areas' will take place on 30 October 2026, 10:00 - 11:30 AM CET.
