Baltic Active Mobility 2026: Shaping Future Cities

The conference Baltic Active Mobility 2026: Shaping Future Cities is organised by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region projects SUMPs for BSR and BATS. The event will take place in Gdynia, Poland, on 8-9 September 2026.

The Baltic Active Mobility 2026: Shaping Future Cities conference brings together practitioners, experts, and decision-makers from the Baltic Sea Region to analyse how active mobility and Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) can shape healthier, more resilient and future-ready cities.

The event is organised by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region projects SUMPs for BSR and BATS, supporting cities in accelerating the transition towards active and sustainable urban mobility.

Participants can expect strategic debates, practical exchanges, and peer learning. By combining political dialogue and hands-on insights, the conference is a platform for exchange between high-level representatives and decision-makers across all levels of governance.

The event week will start with the UBC Sustainable Cities Commission meeting on 7 September 2026.
