ESCALATE conveys for its General Assembly!

ESCALATE, the project powering the European Union's net-zero future, conveyed all its partners for a two-day meeting in Surrey (United Kingdom). The reason? The project's General Assembly!

ESCALATE, the European project escalating zero-emission HDVs and logistic intelligence, brings together a highly diverse and committed consortium. From Belgium to Denmark, Greece, Turkiye, Finland, and many more, partners came to Surrey for the project's General Assembly!

The General Assembly

Taking place on 13 and 14 November, the General Assembly was a unique opportunity for partners to discuss everything and more, including:

  • Technical and financial matters
  • Open issues
  • Objectives
  • Timings
  • Interdependencies
  • Deliverables
  • Next steps
  • And much more!

Moreover, there was also time for brainstorming activities such as dedicated breakout sessions and pilot workshops led by partners.

More about ESCALATE

The ESCALATE project seeks to showcase high-efficiency powertrains for long-haul applications, achieving an 800 km range without refueling/recharging and covering a minimum of 500 km in average daily operation under real conditions. The project revolves around three key innovation areas:

  1. Standardised, well-designed, cost-effective, modular, and scalable multi-powertrain components.
  2. Rapid refueling and grid-friendly charging solutions.
  3. Implementation of digital twin and AI-based management tools that factor in charging infrastructure capacity, availability, speed, and nature, along with considerations for fleet structures.
