ReSKILLING Online Workshop: How CCAM re-designs jobs and skills
ReSKILLING, the EU-funded project aiming to equip Europe's mobility workforce and businesses with the skills to navigate CCAM's evolving landscape, organises an online workshop on 26 May at 13:00-17:00 CET to validate findings and explore new trends with stakeholders on future skills needs and job impacts of CCAM deployment.
How will Connected, Cooperative, and Automated Mobility (CCAM) redesign transport jobs? After analysing the categories of jobs impacted by the CCAM transition, the ReSKILLING project focuses in this workshop on 'special' workforce groups particularly affected: from current status to newly required skills, the project investigates inclusive pathways to prepare the transport ecosystem across the whole CCAM value chain for more efficient and sustainable transport in Europe and beyond!
In the different sessions, the following themes will be covered:
- Which jobs will be impacted most;
- What new skills do workers need for automated mobility trends;
- Which transport workforce groups are expected to be impacted mostly, and how;
- How to create inclusive reskilling pathways that leave no one behind.
Participants should join the remote workshop to learn from the project research results and discuss in smaller groups how to improve them and make a real impact.
Active participation is sought after: transport practitioners' expertise is very welcome to validate findings on skills matrices, labour market forecasts, and employment trends in automated mobility. Participants' input will have a strong influence on the project outcomes, directly shaping workforce and business strategies and policy recommendations.
