Calling local and regional authorities to answer a survey on urban mobility investment needs
POLIS, together with Eurocities and the support of the Urban Nodes Alliance, is inviting local and regional authorities to take part in a short survey on investment needs and priorities for urban mobility.
The survey gathers the views of cities and regions on the investments needed to support sustainable urban mobility. The goal is to have a complete overview of the priorities of local and regional authorities to shape the future advocacy work.
It covers nine investment areas, from public transport, active mobility and multimodal hubs to digitalisation and new mobility services, aligned with the key performance indicators (KPIs) of the Performance Regulation for the upcoming 2028-2034 EU budget and the National Recovery and Resilience Plans (NRRPs). For each area, the survey asks authorities how pressing the need is and where investment would make the most difference. By anchoring the questions to these KPIs, the results can feed directly into discussions on how EU funds are programmed and prioritised.
The results will help the networks identify the priorities of European cities and regions and make the case for future EU investment that matches what cities and regions actually need. For POLIS, this will feed into our advocacy work with the EU institutions on the next funding period.
