POLIS and CCAM partnership calling on cities and regions to shape CCAM Urban Deployment Roadmap
POLIS and the CCAM Partnership are inviting cities and regions to join their in-person CCAM workshop on 8 October 2025 in Brussels. This workshop contributes to the co-creation of the CCAM Urban Deployment Roadmap developed under the CCAMbassador project.
The workshop is especially targeted at cities and regions, as they are key to turning CCAM research and innovation into real solutions for urban mobility. The roadmap will set out what it takes to make CCAM work in practice: from priority use cases to realistic pathways and the right conditions for large-scale deployment. It will also define deployment profiles tailored to local contexts and ambitions, identifying customised pathways towards operational CCAM solutions. The roadmap will also by defining roles, identifying shared priorities, and bridging urban deployment objectives with the efforts of industry, researchers, and regulators.
Through this initiative, we seek to:
- Identify urban needs and practical use cases;
- Address
- Determine essential
- Shape , funding, and support mechanisms.
The first workshop will take place in Brussels on 8 October 2025, from 12:15 to 18:30 CEST. This event marks the starting point of a broader process that will continue in the coming months, with further activities and opportunities for cities and regions to contribute to shaping the CCAM Urban Deployment Roadmap.
The full agenda and registration form are available here.
Please note that the workshop is primarily directed at local and regional authorities as well as selected CCAM projects. As the venue has limited capacity, in-person participation from other stakeholders may need to be restricted, although the meeting can also be followed online with limited participation. We therefore encourage early registration.
