Regions working group meeting: Climate protection and regional SUMPs
On 27 June, POLIS' Regions working group will be holding a physical meeting in Brussels, addressing regional sustainable urban mobility planning and regions’ role in climate protection.
Regions are key stakeholders in the climate protection and mobility decarbonisation process. We will join our Working Group chair, Baden-Württemberg, to convene a discussion on how cities can- and are- leading urban mobility decarbonisation and SUMP planning.
Date: Monday, 27. June 2022
Time: 12:00-18:00 CEST
The event will be divided into two sessions:
The first from 12:00-15:30 is hosted by Baden-Württemberg and will examine climate protection policies. Further information about this morning meeting can be found HERE.
The second session (16:00-18:00) will take the form of the POLIS Regions Working Group meeting to address SUMP planning and implementation at a regional level.
We will then be holding an (optional) dinner afterwards. This will be a chance to network with your peers and continue the conversation.
PLEASE NOTE: POLIS working group meetings are open to POLIS members only.
