Joint POLIS-ERRIN Online Meeting: Urban nodes and TEN-T

POLIS and ERRIN are organising a joint meeting focused on the crucial topic of urban nodes within the TEN-T regulation.

It will serve as a platform to discuss and share insights on the significance of urban nodes and will initiate discussions on the future Connecting Europe Facility (CEF).

Key objectives of the meeting include:

1. Promoting ERRIN and POLIS work on TEN-T urban nodes: We will highlight the key policy recommendations that ERRIN and POLIS have developed in the area of urban nodes.

2. Initiating discussions on the future Connecting Europe Facility (CEF): As we look ahead to the future of the TEN-T legislation, it is essential to discuss the financing mechanisms required to support urban nodes in meeting the objectives of the upcoming TEN-T regulation. It is essential to ensure that adequate financial resources are allocated to urban nodes.

During the meeting, Herald Ruijters, acting DGA of DG MOVE, will provide valuable insights into the European Commission’s perspective on urban nodes, the TEN-T Regulation and the CEF.
