Boosting innovation at interregional level in the mobility sector

The partnership has been formed under the Smart Specialisation Platform for Industrial Modernisation (S3P-Industry) led by DG GROW. Its main objectives are to strengthen the regions’ innovation capacity beyond the automotive industry and to facilitate investments based on open innovation infrastructure and new technologies. Boosting innovation at interregional level is intended to enable Europe’s industry to maintain its leading industrial position while maximising the industry's contribution to growth and employment.

The Safe and Sustainable Mobility Partnership is led by Aragon (Spain), Bavaria (Germany) and Ile-de-France (France). This meeting will welcome representatives of the European Commission (DG RTD and DG MOVE) who will present the current and future priorities in this field.

The event will be organised on the 24th of January 2018 (from 8.30 Am to 13.00) and will be hosted by the Polis Network (rue du Trône, 98).
