Milan suspends UVAR and provides tests for public transport drivers

Milan has suspended two areas of its Urban Vehicle Access Regulation (UVAR) scheme as part of a wider effort to keep the city moving during the COVID-19 crisis.

Vehicle access rules for areas B and C, the latter of which includes the city's historic city centre, will be suspended until 15 April.

More recently, an announcement has been made that COVID-19 tests have been made available for public transport drivers. This will help to protect both public transport drivers, who are at high risk of infection, as well as passengers who still need to travel. Read more here.
