Catalonia launches public transport campaign for post-lockdown travel

The Government of Catalonia has launched a new public transport campaign as the region prepares for the next phase of the COVID-19 outbreak.

The campaign aims to inform the 7.5 million citizens in Catalonia of the changes taking place in public transport as the region prepares for easing of travel restrictions.

The campaign informs citizens that "the journey continues, but we will do it in a different way", and highlights new guidance in place when using public transport:

• The use of a mask is mandatory on public transport
• Keep a safe distance from other passengers
• Avoid the busiest travelling hours
