Its internationally acclaimed events including Ravenna Festival and Night Mosaic, attracting visitors from across the globe.

Ravenna joins a large, and growing, community of cities and regions which are collaborating to expand sustainable mobility services and establish innovative new transport options. From micromobility to road safety, POLIS members coordinate to share best practices and collectively tackle key challenges and opportunities.

POLIS membership has expanded rapidly in the last several months, and Ravenna joins a wave of new members including Moscow and Vienna.

Ravenna is no stranger to sustainable mobility. The city has long been working towards clean, safe and accessible mobility, partnering with projects including START to reduce freight emissions, CITYPORT, to tackle traffic congestion, and BUMP, enhancing technical and practical skills needed to plan and manage sustainable mobility.

The city is also a leader in sustainable freight. Ravenna Green Port, a three-year project, is developing sustainable solutions at the Port of Ravenna, including green retrofit of existing infrastructures and production of energy from renewable sources, as well as enhancing human resources and skills required to pursue durable and effective mobility at the port.
