Nordic Edge Expo & Conference on Smart Cities: 24-26 September 2019, Stavanger (Norway)

Smart Cities, from Local to Global: the speed of the transition to smarter and more sustainable cities is increasing, and at the heart of it all you will find Nordic Edge Expo. The leading conference and exhibition for smart cities in the North will thus be the place to be this year.

How are national road maps evolving into regional and European plans? Find the answer in the workshops and speeches during the Nordic Edge Expo & Conference, a three-day event between September 24 and 26 in Stavanger, Norway.

Streamlining Smart Cities

Starting at the national level, the world's first national roadmap for smarter and more sustainable cities and communities will move to an implementation stage. This will include the tools and best practise for those who are interested in implementing the Smart City Roadmap into their local municipalities in Norway.

Following the national level, the Nordic Smart City Summit will showcase the best examples of collaborations within the Nordics.

The Future of European Smart Cities

Haitze Siemers (European Commission) is set to speak at the Nordic Edge Expo main stage about how Europe is on a mission for the future. Siemers will give insight into how the Commission intends to launch a mission on cities within Horizon Europe, the next EU framework programme.
