SUM at Smart City Expo: Workshop 'Integrating New Cooperative, Co-created Shared Mobility Business Models into SUMPs'
Attending the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona this November? Then do not miss the SUM project’s workshop 'Integrating New Cooperative, Co-created Shared Mobility Business Models into SUMPs' on 5 November 2025!
The SUM project integrates new and shared mobility services into existing urban mobility systems, aiming to make transport more efficient and sustainable. Thanks to its Living Labs, the project is rising to the challenge and pioneering unique solutions that encourage multimodal travel.
On 5 November, during the Smart City Expo World Congress, SUM will host an unmissable workshop on integrating shared mobility into SUMPs. Organised by the project's partners, POLIS, ERTICO, and VEDECOM, the session will provide expert input, real-life lessons from SUM’s Living Labs, and interactive group discussions.
Featuring participation from POLIS members Leuven and BKK, the workshop will explore practical tools and highly replicable models on topics such as implementing Mobility-as-a-Service, demand-responsive transport, and mobility hubs.
This is a precious opportunity for cities, planners, mobility professionals, and anyone interested in building more sustainable, inclusive mobility systems to receive practical support on how to effectively integrate shared mobility business models into SUMPs.
