GeoSence Result Conference

On 14 June 2024, GeoSence will organise a conference in Stockholm to communicate the results of its research on geofencing. Cities are invited to join the conference and learn more about the dos and don’ts of geofencing in Europe.

With the aim of improving traffic flow, safety, and urban air quality, the EU-funded GeoSence project addresses the benefits and challenges of geofencing in partner cities across Germany, Norway, Sweden, and the UK. The project focuses especially on user acceptance and the innovations needed to enhance geofencing’s applicability and efficiency across Europe. It was launched in April 2021 and come to a close in June 2024.

To mark the end of its research efforts, the project will hold its Result Conference in Stockholm on 14 June 2024. This event is also open to those joining online.

What to expect

During the conference, project partners will present the lessons learned from use cases in Munich, Gothenburg, and Stockholm. Moreover, participants will receive a thorough overview of the project’s guide, filled with recommendations on dos and don'ts when implementing, or working with geofencing.
