BBC News: Google data suggests park visits rose on weekend

Data from Google has revealed an increase in the use of public parks at weekends since the introduction of 'lockdown' measures in the United Kingdom.

The data reveals fewer journeys outside overall over the last two weeks, but higher-than-normal trips to parks and urban green spaces at weekends. This was revealed as part of Google's Community Mobility Reports which have been made publicly available for 131 countries.
