GeoSence project survey: Make your voice heard

The GeoSence project has launched an online questionnaire about needs and experiences with geofencing technologies in European cities and regions.

GeoSence is an EU project under the HORIZON2020 ENUAC call exploring geofencing strategies for urban traffic management and planning implementation. It aims to improve safety, traffic flow, and environmental impacts in urban areas, and will, among other things, lead to an implementation guide for European cities.

The survey, aimed at municipal, local, or regional authorities who deal with transport and mobility, aims to understand how geofencing technologies are being- or could be used for solutions in intelligent transport systems (ITS).

This project is a collaboration between the cities of Gothenburg, Stockholm, and Munich, the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (NPRA)Chalmers University of TechnologyRISESINTEFTechnical University of DresdenUniversity of Westminster and CLOSER.

POLIS is also a partner in this new project, along with our members City of HelmondCity of London, and City of Madrid, as well as London European Partnership for Transport (LEPT), Swedish Transport AdministrationVolvo Group, and ALICE.

The survey lasts between 10-15 minutes and is entirely anonymous. The obtained data will be processed only for scientific purposes within the GeoSence project and only by members of the project team. Data analysis will be done by aggregating information from all survey respondents.
