Sustainable mobility: Powering climate action event

On 14 January, 15:00 – 17:00 CET The European Parliament Intergroup on "Climate Change, Biodiversity and Sustainable Development" is holding an online event “Sustainable mobility: Powering climate action”.

The Intergroup, which brings together Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) to find sustainable solutions to some of the greatest challenges of our time, will discuss the role of the transport sector in achieving the European Union goal of reaching carbon neutrality by 2050.

The event will address how to achieve a comprehensive roadmap and robust policy framework for decarbonisation, the role of electromobility and carbon pricing. Panellists will also explore the capacity for extending and expanding innovation funds allowing large scale pilot projects under HorizonEurope and InvestEU.
