PIARC XXVIIth World Road Congress
PIARC's landmark event, the World Road Congress, will be back for its XXVIIth edition in Prague from 2–6 October 2023! With the theme “Prague 2023 – Together on the road again”, it marks its return to discussing road safety in person once again.
PIARC, the World Road Association, is hosting its XXVIIth World Road Congress in Prague, Czech Republic. The event will take place at the Convention Centre from 2–6 October 2023. The theme of the Congress is “Prague 2023 – Together on the road again”, highlighting the event's return to an in-person format.
Occurring once every four years, the World Road Congress brings together experts from across the globe and presents a unique opportunity for professionals and stakeholders in the road construction and road management industries, including researchers, road administrators, designers, construction businesses, university lecturers, and students.
The Congress is attended by 3,000 to 5,000 specialists who present the latest trends and technologies in the road transport sector. Relevant Ministers will meet to exchange knowledge and discuss the challenges emerging due to the modernisation of road infrastructure.
The event's programme also features the presentation of the results of the work undertaken by PIARC’s 24 Committees and Task Forces, as well as several specialised sessions and workshops dealing with topics of current and future interest and a large exhibition in which road administrations, equipment and service providers, consultants, and road-related organizations will be present.
