Past, present and future of the Interreg MED Programme and of the Governance in the Mediterranean

Are you an active partner or associate of Horizontal, strategic projects of the Mediterranean “PANORAMED” governance project? Do you wish to help building the 2021 - 2027 Interreg MED Programme?

On November 6, 2020, the Interreg MED Programme together with the Agence Nationale de la Cohésion des Territoires (ANCT) organises the online conference "Past, present and future of the Interreg MED Programme and of the Governance in the Mediterranean".

The conference will investigate the future of European territorial cooperation. The objective is to better coordinate and strengthen the governance actions in the Mediterranean.

In relation to this, Interreg MED committed to creating a "PANORAMED" governance platform. PANORAMED makes use of the results of the different projects of the Programme to better capitalise and coordinate the actions of local authorities, States and the European Union.

Scope of the conference

The conference will be the occasion to:

• draw lessons from this new approach designed to improve governance;
• reflect on repeating or adapting the model of cooperation and capitalisation of Interreg MED to respond to the new Mediterranean challenges;
• see how the results of the thematic projects could be better valued and better used in the future period.
