5th Strasbourg European Mobility Days

On 4 July, the 5th Strasbourg European Mobility Days will be taking place (online), this year with the theme of ‘crisis’.

Date: 4 July

Time: 14:00-16:00 CEST

Location: Online

The event, organised by POLIS associate member, Cerema and CNFPT, in partnership with the Eurometropole of Strasbourg, GART and UTP, will be an opportunity to think and exchange ideas based on European and international examples, in order to compare and understand the challenges and levers for action, and thus act effectively to promote a sustainable mobility policy.

This year’s theme is crisis and the impacts on mobility and transport.

Climate, environment, economy, health: every field has been affected by various crises. While we are still suffering from the health crisis due to the Covid pandemic, the war in Ukraine reveals the underlying energy crisis, while the environmental crisis is getting increasingly critical.

Our mobility, systems have- and continue to be- affected by a series of crises. While struggling to rebound from the impacts of the pandemic, they must simultaneously continue to adapt and transform to face the ongoing threats posed by climate change- while confronting the immediate problems wrought by the war in Ukraine.

The event on the 4 July is part of a series of events which will be concluded by a two-day summit in Strasbourg on 24- 25 November.

Three events in the series

  1. A webinar on July 4, 2022 from 2 to 4 pm. It will focus on energy and mobility.
  2. A webinar on October 11, 2022 from 2 to 4 pm. It will be dedicated to the consequences of the health crisis on mobility.
  3. An event in Strasbourg on November 24 afternoon and November 25 will conclude this series by addressing the issue of climate and decarbonization of mobility.
