Submit an abstract for the IEEE Forum on Integrated and Sustainable Transport System 2020

TU Delft is organising the IEEE Forum on Integrated and Sustainable Transport Systems 2020, a conference designed for cities that aim to exploit the benefits of collaborating with academia on urban mobility issues.

The event will take place on 30 June - 2 July 2020 in Delft, the Netherlands. The aim of the conference is to stimulate an active debate on what is needed in order to achieve sustainable transportation systems and what measures have to be adopted to reach this ambitious goal.

The Forum on Integrated and Sustainable Transportation Systems conference is supported by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and it is motivated by the need to join researchers and practitioners together, with the aim of discussing the future of mobility.

The conference will focus on a wide range of topics in the field of ITS, but in particular on challenges and opportunities for sustainable future mobility, with regard to three main topics:

  • Electrification
  • Shared mobility
  • Connected Automation

The Forum ISTS2020 will host scientific presentations from researchers, but will also provide the floor to cities, in order for them to illustrate their vision on the future of mobility through structured presentations, which do not have to be of a detailed scientific nature.

In order to participate in the conference, cities need to select a presenter and submit an abstract about the presentation that they intend to give at the conference by 15 December 2019 via the following link.

If the abstract is accepted, the city representative will need to register for the conference and her presentation will be put in the program together with the paper presentations on the same topic.
