NEMO, the new mobility design conference in Brussels

Among the key topics that will be discussed are the role of design and urban planning to create user and environmentally friendly mobility solutions that could meet technical criteria, the urban culture as well as new lifestyles emerging in our cities. The conference will also explore the role played by designers and architects in this process.

The conference will showcases solutions and best practice examples to combine different approaches to mobility and planning. The NEMO conference feeds into the International Building Exhibition (Internationale Bauausstellung) which will take place in 2027 to mark the 100th anniversary of the opening of Stuttgart’s Weissenhofsiedlung, an international showcase that took place in 1927 and which marked once and for all the International style of modern architecture.
