MOBI-MIX publishes report on 'the MaaS scene'

The MOBI-MIX project has developed an insight report on the MaaS scene - one of the four reports that will be developed throughout the course of the project.

This report compiles a state of the art outlook on the potential impact of MaaS on urban environments. MaaS offers an opportunity to approach mobility from the user's perspective. Like other mobility solutions, its positive impacts are intricately connected to the quality of infrastructure, policy, and communication.

Drawing from previous European projects and publications, the insight report also features interviews with MaaS experts and practitioners from across Europe. The report starts with an overview of the MaaS ecosystem and its potential configurations. Before delving into the roles and interests of different stakeholders, as well as some crucial considerations that make MaaS affordable, resilient and sustainable. The final part contextualizes the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMP) principles within MaaS, and offers some ways to analyse a city's readiness for MaaS.
