Île-de-France Mobilités to provide users with single digital access to mobility services

The personal data of Île-de-France transport users will soon be centralised. The aim is to provide a single digital access for the three million Navigo customers and simplify their journey on the IDF Mobilités application, ''Île-de-France Mobilités Connect''

Île-de-France Mobilités - the organising authority for public transport in the Île-de-France region, recently updated its navigation app "Via Navigo" into a more comprehensive version called ''Île-de-France Mobilités Connect''. This digital access is meant to bring together all the profiles and personal data of its users, currently scattered between different platforms and applications such as the former Via Navigo app, Bonjour RATP, the SNCF (France's national state-owned railway company) app, or Transdev Ile-de-France, and make them accessible under a single identifier.

With this move, Île-de-France Mobilités aims to make the process more efficient, accessible for its citizens, and in tune with the current times. This digital switch will be automatic, and once completed, will allow all users access to a new personal space where:

  • Their favorite routes,
  • carpooling reservations,
  • ticket purchases,
  • subscriptions,
  • and soon other mobility solutions such as Bike Sharing, will be grouped together.

This is meant to be the first step in setting up a digital one-stop-shop for mobility services, in the direction of Mobility as a Service.
