Iuav University of Venice (IUAV) is a themed university totally focusing on the design of living spaces and environments such as cities, landscapes and regions. The main focus of the Research Unit of Transportation, Territory and Logistics is to promote sustainable development practices, assessing the spatial and socio-economic impacts of transportation. IUAV promotes an interdisciplinary approach to the study of cities and transport, socio-economic implications, and sustainability in the widest sense. IUAV is an expert in development strategies to foster regional value chains and partnerships to the benefit of the residents and local businesses. This know-how is expressed both through academic research and strategic projects with administrative partners, businesses and organizations aiming at improving people’s quality of life by acting on the mobility system.
