Transport challenges & opportunities for small & medium-sized cities

This session is intended to provide insight to the specific mobility opportunities and challenges of Europe’s small and medium-sized cities. Transport practitioners from several towns and cities, including Emmen and Helmond (NL), Gent (B), La Rochelle (F) and Gjesdal (NO) will share their experiences, visions and exciting transport initiatives underway and divulge how Polis will work on this in the future.

The session will be broken into two parts: the first part will take the form of a panel discussion among city transport practitioners whereas the second part will entail smaller workshop style discussions on innovative transport schemes and projects underway in these and other towns and cities, including Stavanger.
