Save the date: BrabantStad, Smart & Green Mobility Solutions Workshop - Wednesday 11 October 2017, Brussels
BrabantStad (the Dutch administrative network between the cities of Breda, Eindhoven, Helmond, ’s-Hertogenbosch, Tilburg and the Province of North Brabant) aims at achieving cleaner and more efficient urban transport solutions, both in the field of passenger and in the field of freight transport. Innovative, smart mobility solutions are therefore very crucial.
The workshop will take place on Wednesday October the 11th 2017 from 11:00 until 13:00.
The workshop takes place just a few yards away from the European Parliament, in the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences. Afterwards, a network lunch will take place.
With a 90-minute dynamic and interactive program, the workshop intends to outline a number of challenges in the field of automated & connected driving, cycle innovations, smart logistics, zero emission and ‘Mobility as a Service’. Where does the Brabant province stand in these areas in about 10 years?
Participants will include: Brabant politicians, policy makers, public representatives, entrepreneurs, researchers, experts and EU experts, European partners of the European Commission (DG MOVE and DG CONNECT), Regions & Cities, Polis, EUROCITIES, ERTICO and European knowledge institutes.
Mayor Paul Depla of the city of Breda will welcome you on behalf of BrabantStad. After the summer break, a detailed program and a link for registration will be send out. For more information please contact us on: or Edwin Mermans:
