Innovative technology ideas sought by TfL

In late 2013 TfL published its revised 10 year business plan for nearly £20billion worth of investment in better stations, more reliable services, and a new 24-hour underground service from 2015.  Technological innovation is crucial to the smooth running of London’s integrated public transport network.  The Technology Innovation Portal allows users to submit innovative technological ideas and solutions that meet TfL's key challenges: Customer service; value and sustainability; people; delivery; reliability and dependability; and, safety.

TfL is holding a Technology Innovation Conference on 26 February at which TFL's new Technology Innovation Portal will be officially launched and TfL will reveal some of the opportunities that their transport ambitions will create.
