FLOW project last webinar and eLearning course: 08 November 2017, 14:00-15:30 CET

FLOW is training implementers from more than 40 European cities in applying the FLOW methodology and assessment tools, and actively  encourages experience exchange between local practitioners on evaluating effective congestion busting walking and cycling measures in various face-to-face and online formats. Through these activities, FLOW aims to support the Europe-wide take-up of congestion-reducing walking and cycling measures.

Webinar: 08 November 2017, 14:00-15:30 CET
Throughout 2017, FLOW is offering a series of three webinars and corresponding e-courses. Each webinar gives an overview of the topic, which is expanded on in the e-course that follows. This webinar will provide an overview of the policy context of applying the FLOW tools, including the recently published FLOW Quick Facts and lessons learned from the FLOW cities through their experience implementing the FLOW methodology.

E-course: 13 November – 08 December 2017
On the 13 November (just few days after the webinar) the FLOW last e-course will kick off and will run for a month. Participants can enrol anytime and can follow all lessons at their own pace. This e-course will provide more in-depth information on the technical aspects of the project and will put them into a policy context. Participants will gain insight about how decision makers across Europe perceive congestion and will gain an understanding of which facts and messages are politically effective when considering implementing walking and/or cycling measures in their city. The course will also provide examples of other European cities (and beyond) where congestion has been reduced while cycling and/or walking has been improved.

Target group: cities, decision makers, transport planners in local authorities, other multipliers
