The workshop will focus on different mitigating measures from the energy, constructions and transport sectors, aiming at reducing emission in the city territory, as well as on understanding the importance of a scientific basis for the policy making process, the existing knowledge gap and frontiers of the city emission inventories. This workshop aims at showcasing ambitious plans implemented by cities, to present the Covenant of Mayors framework, its activities, and what it has to offer to Finnish local governments. It also aims at providing feedback to the national level following the agreement on the Regulation on the Governance of the Energy Union, and ahead of COP24 in Katowice. More info
