The seventh edition of the Access City Award has arrived and all European cities with more than 50,000 inhabitants can submit their application from now until September 8th 2016. The objective of this award is to contribute in the process of making cities more accessible to people with disabilities and older people. If your city fulfils the conditions, do not miss the opportunity and present now your strategies and activities designed to make cities barrier-free.

There will be a first, second and third prize but also two special mentions: access to work and accessible smart cities. The five winners will be announced during the annual European Day of People with Disabilities Conference that will take place in Brussels on November 29th 2016.
