Road Safety & Security Working Group meeting: I see Zero, how cities are getting there

On 16 October 2020, 11:00-12:30 CET Polis Safety and Security Working Group will be holding a meeting to discuss progress towards Vision Zero.

Cities across Europe are making substantial progress towards Vision Zero, the national strategy for the prevention of work-related accidents, road accidents and occupational diseases. In Europe, the concept of "zero accidents" gained momentum in the 1990s as part of the development of road safety policy strategies. Sweden was one of the first countries to formally implement this concept in its road safety policy and using the name "VISION ZERO" for the first time.

This meeting will discuss the experiences of cities who are successfully implementing actions for this agenda, sharing best practices, successes, and obstacles faced along the way

Please note: this event is open to POLIS members only.
