Active Travel & Health Working Group: Cycling and walking conquering territory together
In tandem with the Annual POLIS Conference and AGA, the Active Travel & Health Working Group will meet to discuss how walking and cycling agendas must work together to push both up the political agenda.
Date: 29 November, 2022
Time: 09:00-11:00 CET
Location: The Egg, Brussels, Belgium
If cycling and walking are to move up the mobility agenda, they must work together, rather than compete for space. We can no longer see pedestrian and cycle infrastructure as a zero-sum game, after all, they both have a common goal: more space for active mobility.
So how do we build and reinforce this cohesion? With several speakers and a roundtable discussion, this event explores the way forward.
This event is open to POLIS members only. Members can register HERE
Please note: This event is taking place ahead of the Annual POLIS Conference taking place on 30 November and 1 December in Brussels, Belgium.
The Annual POLIS Conference provides an opportunity for cities and regions to showcase their transport achievements to a large audience of mobility experts, practitioners and decision-makers.
