Workshop invitation: Towards an EU-wide Interoperable Electromobility System

The workshop takes place in the framework of the 27th international electric vehicle symposium (EVS27). It starts with a showcase of EV activities in Barcelona: what has been done, what worked really well, and what practical hurdles did they encounter? Participants will then share policy strategies and incentives with a smaller group of colleagues from all over Europe, as to share insights and successes, tips and tricks, and possible success factors of policy strategies.

The second part of the workshop will focus to identify and discuss trends in Europe with an overview of European strategies, incentives, hurdles and successes.

Workshop findings will be used to produce an easy-to-use guide, containing proven policy measures at all policy levels to support the use of electric vehicles. This "Electromobility Best Practice Policy Development Guidance Document" will provide policy suggestions when rolling out demonstrations or full introduction of EVs in cities and regions.
