Workshop: Electric Vehicles for Smart Cities and Communities – Fostering the City-Industry Dialogue, 1 April, Newcastle

The workshop will also contribute to the implementation of the EIP-SCC and feed into the conclusions which the initiative will present to the EU Commissioner for Transport Violeta Bulc during its General Assembly on the 21st May. It is a unique opportunity to provide input to the Commission’s future actions on electric vehicles in the context of Smart Cities.

Two input panels, one for industry representatives, and one for cities, will set the tone and provide inspiration for two following interactive sessions. During these, cities and companies are invited to discuss how they can work better together in order to accelerate the adoption of EVs and realize the associated smart city benefits, as well as to pitch projects and initiatives to each other and look for synergies.
