Transport Security Workshop to be held in Brussels

The workshop is organised on behalf of DG MOVE. Participants will learn about the progress in research into transport security, how the results can be used to guide the development of future transport security and you will have the opportunity to influence recommendations for future policy development.

The TRIP team has performed a review of transport security projects registered in TRIP. The objectives of the workshop are to:

  • Present the results of the review of transport security-related projects in TRIP
  • Discuss and validate the conclusions and recommendations regarding the direction of the research and its relationship with EU policy
  • Obtain conclusions from the workshop to assist in the generation of a report on research in the field of transport security, which will subsequently be made available through the TRIP portal.

The draft agenda is available here.

The registration form is accessible here.

About TRIP

TRIP is the single portal for all transport research conducted at European and national levels. Country profiles provide summaries on the organisation of transport research in European Research Area countries. The Programme and Project sections contain detailed information on national, European and international programmes and projects respectively. Our series of Research Theme Analysis Reports provides a broader overview of the research conducted at European level and its input into the policy making process. TRIP runs a series of stakeholder workshops during the drafting of the Research Theme Analysis Reports to gain further stakeholder input.
