Transport Research Arena TRA 2018 in Vienna, 16-19 April 2018: Call for Papers now open

TRA 2018 is an arena for researchers, scientists and engineers, companies and public authorities active in the field of transport. It welcomes policy makers and stakeholders framing research and transport policy. It will combine the new challenges of mobility and logistics with open questions of transport and infrastructure and will cover all modes of transport: road, rail, waterborne, aviation as well as cross-modality.

Key focus will be on:

How digitalisation is transforming transport & mobility systems
Decarbonisation & future growth – how to change our mobility system & remain competitive
Shaping the new mobility landscape – a vision for transport & mobility for Europe

TRA 2018 lanuched a call for papers for the coming conference. You are invited to submit your abstract of up to 500 words in English until March 21, 2017. The abstracts are expected to report on original, recent and substantive achievements related to one or more of the 12 TRA 2018 topics listed below:

Vehicles & Vessels – Design, Development and Production
Advanced Propulsion Systems
Smart Urban Mobility & Logistics
People Mobility – Systems and Services
Freight Transport and Logistics
Transport Infrastructure
Connected and Automated Transport

Safe, Secure and Resilient Transport Systems
Human Dimension in Transport
Socio-Economics, Innovation and Policy

After successfully passing the abstract review, authors will be invited to submit full papers which - if successfully reviewed - will be presented in oral or poster format at the conference.
