Transport Achievement Award: call for applications until 15 January

Under the theme Green and Inclusive Transport, the 2016 ITF Annual Summit will explore the importance of low-carbon transport as an essential element in the transition to a green growth economy as well as the changes needed to make transport greener, more inclusive and more accessible for everyone.

In this context, the 2016 Transport Achievement Award will recognise an example of excellence in transport which has improved the transport offer in terms of environmental sustainability and/or social inclusion. This example could be a product or a service that has significantly enhanced the quality, performance, user experience or intermodality of the transport offer across one or more of the transport modes.

The award is open to any organisation (government and non-government), business or individual within the 57 ITF member countries. Award winners will be invited to attend the Award Ceremony during the 2016 Summit (18-20 May 2016, Leipzig, Germany).

Applications must be submitted in English using the online application form. The deadline for submissions is 15 January 2016.
