The use of parking data survey
The parking sector has seen a grown uptake of technology. A specific aspect of this growth is related to better enforcement and payment. Intelligent parking systems provide the ease of payment to the driver and back-office information to the operator. Parking technologies generate substantial amounts of digital data.
Polis (A network for cities and regions for innovation in urban transport) is taking an initiative in form of online survey to unfold the potential uses of parking data. With the help of this survey, we will try to understand which type of organizations collect parking data and to which extent this is being used. We intend to conduct interviews in addition to the online survey in order to interact better with our respondents to get their opinions and future insights into the use of this data. The deadline for the input of survey is May-6th .
