Seven European cities are participating in the largest active travel survey ever registered. Sign up and help improve your urban environment!
Residents from Antwerp (Belgium), Barcelona (Spain), London (UK), Örebro (Sweden), Rome (Italy), Vienna (Austria) and Zürich (Switzerland) are being asked to sign up to help the PASTA team better understand the barriers and opportunities people in Europe face when walking, cycling and/or taking public transport; and what this might mean for safety.
Participants will be asked to answer a simple survey in the first instance, then a shorter follow up survey at regular intervals, to build up a picture of people’s day to day activities.
Findings from the survey will be used by politicians and decision makers at all levels to support informed decisions on investing in, and improving, opportunities for walking and cycling in towns and cities in Europe.
If you wish to be part of this study, or know someone who is eligible, then follow this link to register.
PASTA - Physical Activity Through Sustainable Transport Approaches, is a funded European project focused on the promotion and factors enabling active travel (i.e. walking and cycling including the combination with public transport use) in urban environments as an innovative approach to integrate physical activity into individuals’ everyday lives.
