Registrations are open for the Mobility Days in Strasbourg!

The 4th edition of the Journées d'échanges sur la mobilité urbaine dans les villes européennes will explore the role of shared mobility services in the wider urban mobility context. The event is organised among others by Cerema and is supported by UITP.

As in previous editions, the event will allow all stakeholders to benchmark to understand and understand to act, based on the reflexions and contributions from experts, political representatives and transport practitioners from France and Europe.

The debates will be organised around the following questions:

  • How can transport authorities both manage and regulate at the same time?
  • Who are the new actors of shared mobility? Which economic models do they propose for such innovative solutions?
  • What should we expect from shared mobility services, both in terms of efficiency and guarantees?
  • Is private car the most optimal solution for commuting in peripherical areas? What impact does this have on broader public policy objectives?

POLIS member Madrid, represented by Sergio Fernandez Balaguer, will present on “multi-modal and multi-operator service information” in the session “Systemic and operational approach” on Thursday 29 November.
