International Transport Forum Consultation Day with International Organisations

Representatives of 41 international organisations and associations from all modes of transport, the UN system and multilateral development banks met in Paris on 1 December to provide their perspectives on current challenges to safety and security in transport and how to address them.

Their input will help to shape the programme of the 2018 International Transport Forum Summit on Transport Safety & Security, to be held from 23-25 May 2018 in Leipzig, Germany.

The ITF annual Consultation Day was preceded by a roundtable on "Women in transport" and followed by an exploratory session on the 2019 Summit theme "Transport connectivity for regional development".
