First BESTFACT Best Practice cases published!

The objective of BESTFACT is to develop, disseminate and enhance the utilisation of best practices and innovations in freight transport that contribute to meeting European transport policy objectives with regards to competitiveness and environmental impact.To do so, three main areas are considered: Urban Freight, Green Logistics & Co-modality and eFreight.

One of the projects activities is to collect and present best practice cases. For Urban Freight, 17 innovative city logistics solutions have been just published. Among these, three Polis' members cases are now available:

• Bentobox and 'urban freight laboratory' area in Berlin
• Multiuse lanes for freight distribution in Bilbao
• Zero-Emission Beer Boat in Utrecht

Other best practice cases describe electric vehicles, consolidation centres or ITS solutions. For more information you can visit the BESTFACT project website.
